design obsession: scalloped

You know what shape I’m loving right now? (I’ll give you one guess, and it may or may not be in the title of this post.)

The lovely scallop shape is derived from my favorite childhood shell with the same name. Its curved edges takes me back to when I was a 7-year-old seeing the ocean for the first time, and the hunt for the perfect one. The form is soothing and organic, but creates incredible interest when turned into a pattern. It can be retro. It can be modern. Originating from nature, the scallop shape is timeless.

Can I have these tables? Pretty PRETTY please??!

Blush and gold. Together they are glamorous, soft, and romantic. The ultimate girly combo? Maybe…. but this color scheme can be used in many more places than just your daughter’s bedroom. See! Even in the kitchen! A little accents go a long way.

color story: coral + gray

Coral is natural, romantic, and playful. It gives off those happy, feel-good vibes. Gray is neutral, reserved, and agreeable. When paired with together, coral shines through, providing a unique look while emitting believability and flexibility. These 2 colors collectively radiate sophistication, whimsy, and flair.

Charcoal & Gold.

Dramatic. Regal. Showstopping.

The colors matched together give this bedroom a look that is classic yet undeniably luxurious.

One day I pray I will have the patience to do something like this to my nails!!

Bold emerald green matched with soft peach is both flirty and fierce! I’m loving these 2 colors together.
