Hi I’m Nataliya! You can call me Nat.
I’m an interior designer who calls Texas home. I have a wonderful husband, Nate, and lovely pup child, Maci. We live in New Braunfels, a great little town tucked in between Austin and San Antonio. You should really check it out.
I started this blog as a creative outlet and kind of like a life diary. It got its name for my love of the old mixed with the new. My aim is always to inspire, drive creativity, help others reach their true potential, and keep it real. Thanks for sharing the journey with me!
Your blog is beautiful! In the middle of redesigning mine, so I love the inspiration! ~M.

I’ve been following your blog for quite some time, I enjoy it! Thanks for the shout out 🙂
I love your new look Nat!!! I’m sorry that you’re worried about turning 30! DUDE! Seriously, you are AMAZING and should be proud to be exactly who you are, despite what society says is the norm. You and Nate are great people and I’m very happy to know you. 🙂
Such sweet words, Shelly! Every so often pics from the Disney trip or the trip up to Jackie’s Cottage will pop up on my screensaver slideshow. I miss our fun times 🙂
I know 30 isn’t the end of the world….I just don’t want to be old and lame you know?! 🙂 I hope I can feel young forever. I guess it’s more your mindset than the number that defines you.
Hi Nat – I love your pinterest board furniture {on a budget}. I feel its really fitting for many people these days who are constantly moving and don’t really want to make a huge investment in a piece of furniture. I’m building tools on my website http://www.furnishup.com to allow people to shop that type of furniture and see it in their place – I’d love for you to take a look at it and hear your comments.
Hi Chris! Thanks, I’m glad you like it! 🙂 I think it’s so important to have budget friendly furniture options that are stylish as well! I will check it out your website – it sounds like a great idea!
Your blog is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing a picture of our hide! Please email me. I would like to talk to you about a project that we would like to start with bloggers and designers.

Thanks so much Fernanda for your kind words! I’ll email you 🙂
Lovely blog! I can get lost in the beautiful photography of beautiful color schemes. Like you, I’ve moved many times, prefer smallish towns, and live in Texas. UNlike you, I thrive on caffeine!
Almost forgot…… I also love vintage stuff as well as new styles, preferably side by side.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I’m with you, mixing old and new is the best way 🙂 Where in Texas are you?
We’re in Ellis County, south of Dallas. I grew up mostly in Palestine, in East Texas. Since you enjoy travel I will suggest the Dogwood Festival there, in late March.
Oooohh I’ll have to check it out. Thanks! 🙂

Hello Nat, I wonder if you can help me with something? I have seen a particular red and turquoise fabric on your blog site and wondered if you knew where I could get hold of it? Thank you!
Hi! I think this may be the fabric you are referring to:
